NOMADKA - name, logotype and identity

 

The name stems from the word "Nomad", which describes a resilient and ingenious person not tied down by anything. At the same time, in the western culture, nomads are often portrayed as simple people with a rich culture, who are one with nature and natural products.

 

In Slovenian language (where it comes from) Nomadka means a female nomad and slovenian word for a bag is also female.

 

I wanted to describe a bag that can be carried as a handbag, shoulderbag or a backpack and is so well designed you can carry it to all different occasions.
Why finding a bag and backpack hybrid if there is a word for a durable, good looking, usable and transformable product: Nomadka. 

For the logotype I choose a branch on which nomads carried their belongings as products designed in Studio Nomadka will mostly be bags that are multifunctional and durable.
