Sexual education in China has long been in an awkward position. Knowledge of the existing sexual education are mostly on heterosexuality, while articles on homosexuality lay most of their emphasis on social discrimination, discussing the possible means of changing the situation. Thus, there are very few routes in China popularizing knowledge of homosexual behavior and safety.
The project is mainly themed by the issues related with homosexuality. It studies through three directions: sexual orientation, sexual safety and sexual behavior and presents in a form of handbook. Meanwhile, it also aims at developing a smart condom based on the study of sexual safety to provide users a new experience. Thus, production design, package design and APP UI design are involved in the project. The APP visual design emphasizes the pleasant interactive experience brought by dynamic effect.
I hope this project can help people to understand and accept sex in a right way and to treat people of LGBT community without discrimination. It also can help homosexual couples to pay more attention to sexual safety so that they can reduce disease and misfortune and enjoy their sexual life.
