Ravine Vineyard
Feature for Vines Magazine
An editorial assignment for Vines Magazine took me on a tour of Ravine Vineyard in St David’s Ontario. This was a dream shoot that allowed me to  spend a day hanging out in a vineyard capturing the beautiful setting, food, people, and a even bio-dynamic image of the chickens eating insects under the organic vines!
Chefs Paul Harber and Collin Goodine
The seventh generation gardener cuts sage for the evneings meals at the onsite bistro.
The restored Woodriuff House (circa1815) has literally been taken apart, boxed, and shipped to a new location three times, finally returning to it's place of origin.
The net keeps the birds from eating the grapes. This is the socially conscious alternative to the bird-bangers (gun shot sounds) that most vineyards use.
Biodynamic!! The chickens feed on the insects that damage the grape crops.
