PORSCHE 2FACE
Seduction

What is it that we find so alluring in a person or an object? Drawn to it like moths to light we return to this seductive center of gravity again and again. Usually, we are fascinated by mystery, a certain gloominess and secrecy. Asked to give an exact description of what we find seductive, however – we fail. It seems that what we find alluring remains intangible, transcendental even.

But what if seduction was more like a game with rules....once you learn them,
you can play…

Sciences such as psychology found that, broadly speaking, what we find most attractive are opposites. The tension between two things which are in fact contradictory combined in one person or object really gets our interest going. That is why we are fascinated by the opera singing dirt bike rider or the ultimate fighter who loves a good session of ballet. But it is not only opposites we are drawn to but also objects or persons that spark our curiosity and challenge us to go on and explore their character. That's why we all know those movies where the cliché hero never talks, always gives us the same sad look into the camera and rides alone into the sun set. And honestly, most of us have probably tried to create those mysterious moments to impress another person – I for myself failed spectacularly every single time. Turns out, riding your bicycle into the sunset and then into a lamp post kind of ruins it......

That's why I gave up on any bicycle adventures and turned to cars. Contradiction is instrumental in creating mystery and attraction. My sports car project the PORSCHE 2 FACE plays with opposites as well as the beauty of imperfection in order to capture the mystery we find so alluring. Some parts are hidden, others stand out. It seems you will never fully grasp the entirety of its presence, technology and emotion in a beautiful duet – kind of riding into the sunset.....

THANK YOU
