Project: 90th Anniversary Exhibition Design & Promotion
Client: American Academy of Art
Work: Art Direction, Print & Digital Design, Environmental Design, Social Media & Curation

Celebrating 90 years of the American Academy of Art with a exhibition highlighting students from every era of the school. I was in charge of every aspect of this project from handpicking the work from the schools archives to contacting alumni for pieces to loan.

Incorporating branding, environmental graphics, print design, digital design and curation to build a hugely successful opening and a night to remember.

In addition to the art there were photographs, quotes, catalogs and ephemera also included. The promotional pieces ranged from simple postcards, fold-out poster mailers, social media posts and web banners to large printed wall panels.

The entire project started as an idea many years prior, and can say it was one of the most satisfying moments of my career to finally see it through.

Success: We were able to share art, photos and ephemera from 90 years of students, some of which had rarely if ever been seen before. This helped rekindle old friendships and build new alumni relations.
