Dr. King had it right. Only Love can conquer Hate. Love that is disciplined and ready to take nonviolent direct action that is designed to SHUT DOWN injustice and CHANGE greed, violence and fear into respect, compassion and love in the execrcise power of in our societies..
This graphic was made for use on flyers which I handed out in front of the US Federal Building during the siege of Fallujah in 2003. Along with Rev. Pail Sawyer and Salvadoran musician Fidel Sánchez and other volunteers, we held a 20' long cloth banner on which I painted this image.

This crew has yet to face any serious consequences for the hundreds of thousands of murders which they committed... butchers in business suits, making Charles Manson look like a kindergarten kid in comparison, and in as far as we acquiesce to these crimes, we make ourselves look like Jim Jones' disciples drinking their poisoned Kool-Aid .

At this moment, the Spanish Court is processing the first case under the rule of universal jurisdiction against 6 attorneys, including the former US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, for their roles in creating the "legal" framework under which prisoners have been tortured and murdered by the US in Guantánamo and other so-called "black sites" (are we still using "black" as an insult after all these years??? Malcolm X, where are you??!)
This poster is in honor of the Iran-Contra criminals who were recently again in charge of US Latin America policy, under Bush... Otto Reich, John Negroponte and Elliott Abrams.

Recent accomplishments include the 2002 coup against Hugo Chávez... résumé highlights include organizing Honduran and Guatemalan death squads, raising money for Contra terrorists and "cleaning up their image" to make sure that their cocaine revenues continued uninterrupted, covering up and lying about massacres like El Mozote in El Salvador, harboring and facilitating the movements of terrorists Orlando Bosch and José Posada Carriles the Cuban exiles who blew up a Cuban airliner and killed 78 people and executed the assassination of Orlando Letilier in Washington D.C. (an "unsolved murder"), and in general organizing propaganda and misinformation to bullshit US citizens into buying all of the above as being some kind of "democracy building."

To the International Court with them!
Baltazar Garzón... ???
The word "Gestapo" loosely translated into English means... Homeland Security.
The photo is from the LA Times, showing US troops deployed into a Santa Clarita neighborhood for some reason or other in 2003. Last year, 2008, the US Army deployed a division of troops for duty in the newly formed NorthCom: for action iside the borders of the US in case of "natural disasters or other emergencies."  These folks are busy indeed. As Bob Dylan said, "Bringin' It All Back Home."

With US generals like William "Jerry" Boykin going around the country openly declaring that the USA is a "Christian Nation" currently at war with "Satan;" with the head US Chaplain in Iraq exhorting the troops to "hunt men for Jesus" and recent candidates such as Sarah Palin (who believes that we are now in the "end times" and are engaged in the Final War wherein Jesus comes back and yada yada)," I am shall we say, concerned for the safety of us all. Heaven help us.
I have long been just a little disappointed in United Statesians in general, always talking about how other people need to change, and how little they can do, and how much they sacrifice for others... Living with the highest general standard of living of any human beings in all history, they seem completely unable to do anything except shrug and let their money be turned into enormous piles of dead and injured human beings all across the globe. Making excuses while sipping lattes, driving 5 miles to buy a tomato grown and picked by a slave which was then itself driven 600 miles to the store where it is sold, never seeing the injustice inherent in their "lifestyles"... all the while making threats against their perceived enemies on all sides and whining about how they are such victims. As I said, I am a little disappointed in United Statesians. With all that they have, one could expect miracles. Instead we get... excuses.
