PORRADA GEAR is a BJJ Apparel Brand founded in San Francisco CA. “Porrada” is a brazilian-portuguese word that literally means fight, brawl, punch, all together. It is also used as a slang for something radical, cool, explosive. The red element surrounding the skull represents the iconic Golden Gate Bridge of SF. The red dot on the skull’s forehead represents the conscious eye and the connection between BRAZIL and JAPAN (the origin of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu). The skul overall symbolizes the true Jiu Jitsu Master, away from the physical realm and fully into his practice / art.
