The Great Outdoors is a personal branding project, which is conceptualised as an identity for a fresh start-up outdoor goods store based in Northern California.
The brand has been created to convey simplicty, and offer a friendly presence. The logo takes influence from contour lines used in orienteering maps that reference the layout of terrain using a corresponding value (usually meters above-sea-level) - my logo uses the year established in place of this value. Also included in this project is the brand style, rolled out across the many different medias of The Great Outdoors Brand. Enjoy!
Some images used in this project have been found via Google image searches, and are used only for the purpose of applying my designs to them, displaying them in situ. Those particular images have not been used commercially, or anywhere else outside of my portfolio.
