Synopsis
 
In light of September 11 attack, we look to a story of a restaurant in east Village in New York called “Sahara East”.
“Sahara East” restaurant shares the same wall with the “Madina” Mosque and Islamic Council of America.
 
“Sahara East” explores the impact of the sep 11 tragedies from the perspective of Mahmoud, an Arab/American and owner of “Sahara East” restaurant.
“Sahara East” examines the diversity that built America’s today including Arab/American whom they are part of this construction and this should be taken into consideration.
“Sahara East” will reflect the hidden fear of the future that American from Arabic background feels and it reflects their overt sorrow about the victims of September 11, 2001.
