One of the main tasks of the Norwegian Directorate of Health is to make governmental information about health available and accessible to employees in the health services and management, in their work situations. To achieve the objectives of the Directorates web strategy, the redesigned site was given a new look and information architecture made to fit the various device formats used by the target group.
Directly following the work on the Directorate of Health web site, the design team from Sopra Steria also redesigned web sites for e-helse.no (Ehealth - electronic collaboration and use of technology in the health and care sector) and nyemetoder.no (National System for the Introduction of New Methods in the Specialist Health Care Services). As sub-pages, these sites should clearly show kinship to the Directorate of Health, while at the same time maintaining their own identity.
