a tale made for my friend tells her a well-known story about human sons, totem animality, greed and sorrow. all i need were fashion magazines and some men's health. (smile) maybe also some free crap from shop desks. every time i try to use this needless to anyone on the planet paper crap, to tell the story or to make a small art challenge like this one.

india-style dancing cossack. vatra - means bonfire, yatra - indian mystical travelling. for one version ukrainians came from aryans. my cossack came from picturesque calendar photo.

during my dublin-connemara adventures in 2008 i made this. i used travel magazines from prague airport, and then i managed to create a collage in limited time and from one (two) source. this pic made from one small magazine a5 only, which actually told me a lot about global europe.. thanks, yes one more time please. pity, i don't have any closeup for it and the original is somewhere between folds now.

this started from wasted copies of "watchmen" comic book - one my favourite by style and ideas. the opposite of criminal outside i put happy family from consumption society (unknown paper ads). but this "happyfaced" family bubbly stays in a black void actually, more cruel in the whole, where deep down some unidentified monster are firing. whooosh...
