2010 was a complicated year.

The year in which I counted the days to meet my wife again, for she was studying abroad,

and the year in which I wanted to freeze time, because my mother was loosing her battle against cancer.

I suceed in the former: time, eventually, went by fast,

but the same time, with the same speed, took away my mother.

 

Later I was introduced to the concept of Biophilia, according to E.O Wilson, that literally means "love of life or living systems." He defines it as "the urge to affiliate with other forms of life". Then I understood why I was shooting this project.
