God Save Helvetica

we used Montana Acrylic paint and markers to create our latest series of prints titled “GOD SAVE HELVETICA”.

In a completely analoge process, we call “Analog Experimentelle Siebdruck Typography”, black Montana markers were used to create seemingly random patterns and splashes directly on transparent films, which were then used to burn the screens.
 
Montana Acrylic Paint was then mixed with screen printing paste and used for printing. A vintage Letraset Rub-Off-Lettering sheet was used to burn the screen for the Helvetica.
