Following the attack on the magazine Charlie Hebdo, 1000 graphic and poster designers from 43 countries (and me) answer to the call that la Friche la Belle de Mai launched on January 8th, with la Fête du Graphisme in Paris, la section française de l’Alliance graphique internationale (AGI), l’Alliance française des designers (AFD), le Brief Festival à Madrid and l’Agence régionale du Livre Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
Now, after the exhibition 1000 affiches pour dire (1,000 posters to tell), Le Bec en l’Air and la Friche la Belle de Mai are publishing a book presenting these contributions: 1000 crayons pour la liberté d’expression (1,000 pencils for freedom of speech)
