This is my project for the final laboratory of my three year degree at Politecnico di Milano. The purpose of the lab was to create a visual book, which is a graphic artifact that provides the ability to expand the readability of the book to the reader, without altering the characteristics of the book itself. The construction design of the visual book has allowed then to provide an access key immediate to the reader, in such a way that it could understand the sense, interpret it and then get to the content.
Through the choices of the organization of text and / or figurative within a two-dimensional space I got to put everything on the page, with the aim to produce the desired perceptual effects. The book I worked on was “A history of the world in six glasses” by Tom Standage.
