Bookscape is a bookshelf that is inspired by the City’s Skyline, having a modular design to simulate the undulating horizon.

The concept was to ensure efficiency in production and user interaction, while keeping the product simple, functional and aesthetically pleasant at the same time. The design adopts the idea of “Flat-pack” and it comes in 3 different modules of the same size, making the design very sustainable. In addition, each module comes in 3 different colour as well, which makes it customizable where the users can create their own “modern horizon”.

The project brief was to utilize laser cutting on sheet metal, focusing on the effectiveness of material, manufacture, transportation and assembly.
