This was a studio where students worked with Josh Kenyon and Colby Nichols of Jolby. The class was given an assignment to design a cover, title page and spread for a pre-written story plot. The main goal was to exercise proficiency in hand drawn typography, children’s book layout design and illustration. The story was based off a Yeti named Gus who moves to Paris in hopes of becoming a baker in a fancy bakery, but things don’t go as planned.
