This watercolour painting is of my parents traditional Indian Wedding. The red and orange colours are very important in Indian culture and the traditional colours are vibrant and eyecatching on the clothing. The frame around the portrait is made from paper with patterns cut out of it using a scalpel. I have attached it to the original drawing with double sided tape in orde to give it a raised and sowewhat three dimensional effect.
