In September 2009, Newsweek magazine published its first edition of the Greenest Big Companies in America Annual Report. This interactive infographic is a visual and interactive version of table printed in that issue of the magazine. The top 100 from the 500 largest U.S. companies are listed based on their environmental impact, as well as their green policies and reputation among their peer and environmental experts. This project was developed as the final project for an Interactive Infographics course at the Academy of Art University's MFA program. Adobe Flash Professional and its Action Script 3.0 language, as well as XML.
