Requirement:
The company is called sea blue consulting. the company will do corporate social responsibility, management consulting, education, women's issues etc...

If blue is used it should not be a bright blue.

After discussion, client says he doesn’t want a simplistic/flashy design, but a more professional approach to the problem. “The company we are forming is about promoting corporate social responsibility, its about helping improve education for children in economically developing contries, about women's rights about management consulting, leadership training and about equality... other possible design option are mermaids...”
Approach:
Design approach was modern and inspired by water. Some buzzwords included trust, responsibility, flow, improve, growth. An important part was choosing the right font, which was done using various tools and designer’s experience with typography. A clean, modern serif typeface which complimented the theme was chosen as the logotype font. To complement rest of the branding later, the designer also picked out a sans-serif font which can be used later in marketing collateral or other material.
Blue represents calm, trust and professionalism, all of which are values essentially built into every consulting business. Water and waves have been considered a universal symbol for change and better things to come, whereas the slight spiral-effect was aimed to present balance, progress and development.
