We were given the brief to design publicity material for an exhibition / event concept of our own.

Beyond The Wreck is a concept for a photographic exhibition exploring the journey a ship takes once it has been wrecked. My designs aim to reflect the depths of the ocean by using a vertical concertina fold booklet* for the exhibition guide and a single continuous scrolling page for the website.

The kerning and leading of the type has been designed with space in mind.

 

I also created an exhibition catalogue* - something viewers could purchase as a keepsake of the exhibition. The cover of the book is a print from a piece of copper I had dipped into acid over a number of days to mimic a piece of debris from a shipwreck.
