The Home Depot website currently asks "What can we help you find?", but not everyone's familiar enough with home repair to know exactly what they need. We introduced a more consumer-centric alternative that asks "What can we help you fix?"
Our UX allows consumers to discover the tools they need based on the symptom(s) they have. Each "kit" contains all the tools necessary to complete a specific household task.
Users may toggle the selection of tools to avoid unnecessary purchases. A Home Depot branded tutorial video also accompanies each kit assembly page.
