To make the stone for this piece a crushed up semi-precious stones I have with a hammer and mixed them in clear acrylic resin. Then I wired the "stone" into a tangly mess of iron and aluminum wires, because that's what I do. The stone is approximately 1.5" from top to bottom and contains chalcedony, pyrite, and starburst mica, as well as bits of quartz.
