My 8bit black and white world.

Bringing to surface my toughts while studying several aspects of Borderline Personality Disorder, i illustrate one of several features of the issue: the intensity of interpretation on multiple scenariuns of life by the emotional being.

"Because the borderline splits his feelings into extremes of black and white, he experiences others as providing either exhilarating satisfaction or devastating frustration and rejection. Contending with a borderline’s dependency needs requires navigating between the twin icebergs of being perceived as uncaring on one side and as trying to manipulate on the other. "

Sometimes i act crazy - Living with the Borderline Personality Disorder, Chapter 2, written by Jerold J. Kreisman, M.D. Hal Straus.

While i studied this issue, my mind planted on me some link with the 8 bit confined type of drawing, that came from the old video-games to match well with the limited view of this condition.

art 1: the only thing collored in the frame is a meteor falling from the skies, that means imminent confusion carried by this extremity thoughts and intense emotions.
version 2: experimentation with the holy confusion fire.
version 3: increase the association with video-game inspiration with a dialog box downside, no meteor this time just to not confusing the frame with too much information.
