The box was sent to prospective users of VelQuest's hardware solutions along with a $10 Starbucks giftcard contained within and an invitation to "Have a coffee on us. You'll want to be awake for this."

A package containing a customized lab book with iPod Touch inside was sent to each prospective client.
VelQuest hardware and software solutions replace antiquated lab book centered workflows. A belly band featured the teaser "Introducing the last lab book your company will ever need."
Within the customized, hollowed-out lab book is an iPod Touch that shows a VelQuest background when turned on and then immediately plays the VelQuest promotional video when unlocked.
30% client callback success! Not bad. A box with return label and shipping was also included for clients who are legally obligated to refuse promotional items from vendors.
