Ecumenical Chapel


TheChapel tries to be a symbolic space with a poetical content and without anyreligious requirements in particular, because it’s an ecumenical chapel I waslooking for a universal and sacred space, open to any kind of religion andwhich promotes the identification of every single user with his personalsbelieves.

This piece was proposed to be located at the Universidad SimónBolívar’s Gardens and any member of the University will be able to visit anduse it for several purposes: meditation, reflection and pray.

The main objectsof this project were:   Combinea small scale with a strong conceptual and symbolic idea, which allows thepractice of a strong’s believes, learned at the preceded investigations'exercises.   Encouragethe right understanding of the symbolic and spatial qualities need it for theconcept.   Reinforcethe appropriate relationships between the piece and where is located.
