Borg Ward Collective

"Cera is a senior undergraduate, studying printmaking at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Within the realm of printmaking, he is also focusing on making public art here in Milwaukee. The temporary mural on the Borg Ward Collective is part of his thesis exhibition with MIAD."

 

My primary goal with this temporary outdoor mural is to create an image that represents the history of Milwaukee, arguably dating back to the late 1700’s, as well as represent my own experience with Milwaukee. I will be using portraiture and symbolism to create very specific references to that rich Milwaukee history of immigration, diversity and economic growth.
