People have superstition of omens, taboos and couteracts. We have a very plentiful imagination and can easily associate things together to become the causes and consequences. Counteract were developed as the cause of bringing a better consequence, either when people come across bad things or just for keeping the good luck, e.g. touchwood/ spitting after bad words. These actions are originated from the relatively positive psyche of a negative psyche.
KARMA is an interactive installation that takes the form of a fortune teller booth which aims to show people the energy of their beliefs and attitude. Through the conversation with the plate, by changing the blocks (defining the emotion and belief towards a fact) and watching the sand on plate to form cymatic patterns of various qualities, users can see the changes of the consequences are actually influenced by the vibrations of their thoughts.
