The LGBT community has faced endless oppression and injustice and continues to; yet, through all the rocky changes, their spirit has remained strong. They’ve built a community, like a spreading and abundant tree that grows steadily and welcomes one and all. In this graphic, we have depicted that along with the hopeful future for this beautiful community. Through this initiative we aim at contributing voice to the Pride groups all over- LGBT Community; that have been ignored and talked against with no empathy. Our interactions with a lot of the people gave us great insight to understand the subject better ourselves.
Rupantara or Metamorphosis is a documentation and representation of the plight of this minority and the years of distress is, in a lot of ways, inspiring, how they continue to teach us the greater meaning of life, freedom and joy. Using stories and symbols as metaphors, we’ve created this portable mural.
