A closer look to Robyns's eye. We positioned a cylindrical flash light on the right side of the eye, so it could iluminate the topology of the iris. If you are going to try this some day, don't put the flash in front of the eyeball as it will bounce the light back to you, and the rich contrast between lights and shadows will be lost...
This is the final result with post production in Adobe Camera Raw and LAB Mode in Photoshop. For the wallpaper you see on top we added a bokeh effect to clean up the image.
This is my iris and it's quite different compared to my partner's eye...
We realized how much the eyes can change depending on the amount of light they receive, even the amount of focus relates to the contractions of the iris. Amazing beings indeed we are!
