The Cabinet of Savory Complexity

With about 7 billion people on this Earth and rising, scientists are looking for solutions on how we are to produce enough food to feed everyone. Especially during this time when farmlands are transformed for biofuels while forests are being preserved in hopes of hindering global warming, which means we can't cut for more land. By 2050, the UN expects up to 10 billion habitants living on this blue planet and looking at the statistics, we just won't be producing enough food. To tackle the problem, the UN has proposed a solution. A diet composed primarily of insects. Why insects? Insects are easy to raise and cultivate and the space required in doing so is much more compact compared any other form of farms in existence. The nutrition that they provide meets our body requirement , matching any other food source we have at present or even more. However, they prove to be too intimidating to swallow to a majority of people due to their appearances and this poster aims to change that. Through frankly portraying their taste into appearances and shifting our perspective towards the food of the future, we present to you the Cabinet of Savory Complexity.
