Restored vintage bowling equipment

These guys were trashed... were told they were from the "Rock n Bowl" in NOLA. so much interesting stuff pulled from the creases and cracks.all fiberglass was repaired, patched, and repainted with an epoxy high gloss black.. all aluminum and steel was stripped, treated and painted with House of color gold flake then clearcoated with automotive ureathane...

above lane ball returns... the "wings" were stripped of so much paint and gunk... used galllllllons of "aircraft remover" stripper... automotive prep, paints, and finishes. ball returns were wooden construction . completely rebuilt where necessary, biscuited, doweled, glued, and screwed... epoxy high gloss black.

installed in their native environment... something hella cool about above lane ball return.... hypnotic.
scoring table.... i was blown away by these as a kid... refraction, mirrors, and those elusive x's......

just beautiful. we were really excited to have worked on this project.
a little lagniappe we did at the architect, Richard Weiss request... gold flaked floating bowling ball
