answers are: the best season for tourism in Saint-Petersburg is summer, the colours SPb reminds on are golden and blue, symbols of the city are lions, sphinges and cats.
1st CONCEPT
Lion is the animal symbol of the city. We used it to create an image of the city keeper
...then decided to add a sphere to point on the spheres often seen in the citu center. The second meaning is a crystal ball associated with holydays and joy.
Blue is for water, golden is for sun.
2nd CONCEPT
Sphinges and lions keep the city. These are the figures spread in different parts of city espetially associated with water (bridges, cannals).
We decided to mix the big cat's image with water (because there are lots of canals here) and with chinese lion appearance as there are to very famous chinese lions near the river Neva nd Liteyny prospect.
