The global art scene exploded in Florida the first week of December for Art Basel in Miami Beach 2014 and a week of endless art fairs, parties, concerts, and more. OBJEKT©International was there to cover many stories. As art director I thought it would be good if there would something so OBJEKT©International could engage more with the art week visitors.
Inspired by Art Deco and with an obsession for monograms I designed a contemporary (new) logo, which was only used for #OBJEKTXMIAMI

Working further on designs with the logo I came across this vintage postcard from Miami Beach and started to make new images with the logo. Thinking about promoting OBJEKT©International in Miami with a nice twist I decided to silkscreen my image on the popular canvas tote bags.
The final result: The lady with the hat on the beach, on 200 canvas tote bags, now spread out over the world.
