Illustration created for OSU State magazine article by Dr. Sternberg.  The essay suggested that Oklahoma State University does not need to follow the mold set by the Ivy League universities and instead should follow its own path of creativity.  The sheep portrays OSU's agricultural school while the rocket pack was a metaphor for OSU's aviation school.
