My first Wall Mural of my Stag, Steve
I was comissioned by my university to paint a wall mural on our 3rd floor at Media City Salford. This was my first ever wall mural so I was very nervous, I wanted the illustration projected onto the wall so the proportions where all even and precise. My Stag was born with one antler as he was premature and did not develop the antler so therefore he has one. The wall mural is about A1 in size and took about 8-9 hours in total. Most of the lines are done in watered down black acrylic, the very very fine lines are done using fine liner and a ruler. I have also been told recently that the piece is going to stay there for another 3 months as the rest of the floor is being painted, I am so happy and it was so much fun creating this piece, I think I have found a new love for painting walls :)
