Philippine Festivals

These sharp illustrations are based on Philippine festivals held in five different provinces around the country. I made it for a class assignment.

This illustration of black painted faces are from the Ati-Atihan Festival in Kalibo, Aklan - my home town. This festival is held every January and lasts two weeks.

The next images consecutively are of the Pahiyas Festival in Quezon where they hang their harvest or decorate their houses with vegetables and colored dry rice plates; then there's the Tsinelas (slippers) Festival in Laguna, and the Cassava Festival in Cebu.
