Image: Tree of Life
In this assignment, I created a geometric design by using only Adobe Illustrator CC. I have completed this project according to the following order:
Step 1 - I created 3 geometric shapes by using the paper cut shown below and selected the Tree shape. I named it “Tree of Life" since it sounds like a more artistic geometric pattern for my project.
Step 2 - I traced the geometric shape by using a tracing paper and thereafter used the Pen and Wacom Bamboo pad to get my initial sketch into Adobe Illustrator CC.
Step 3 - I made a background layer in white to contrast my image and decided to create a light blue circle to cover the entire image as a second background in order to create a more natural look.
Step 4 - I used light gold (“FFD7OO”) to highlight the trunk and other parts of the tree.
Step 5 - Since the color of life is green, I used green (“728C00” Venom Green) to highlight certain parts of the tree.
