In this school project I chose to work a personal theme that relates to a particularly complicated phase of my life. Since childhood I had shown an obsessive compulsive disorder and only long years of therapy have finally allowed me to get rid of my ghosts and I am now free of such problems.
In the work presented here I have tried to reveal some of the obsessive behaviour that plagued me since at least 5 years of age.
I started by creating symbols to represent them. For example, my habit of eating meals at excessively high temperatures, heating them repeatedly even during the meal comes, represented here in the form of a mug from which emanates smoke.
Another example comes from the fact that in my childhod during the night I would repeatedly get into my little brother's room to see if he was breathing for I was terrified at the idea that he could ever die during his sleep. In here this obsession emerges represented as a pair of lungs.
