After reading Wendell Berry’s works, I decided to focus on the idea that humans and nature naturally parallel each other and are irrevocably connected. I created a series of illustrations using a single continuous line to show how all the elements, human and natural, are related. 

The book is accordion bound to so you can follow the singular line through all the illustrations. The line loops through the entire book and across the front and back cover, making it unending.

The book format also reflects my thesis, because although it seems extremely vertical when closed, once opened the spreads create perfect 10 x 10 inch squares; the two halves combine into a perfect whole.
