Toy Microsite for Event Tie-up
DagedarInvasion.com marks the national launch of new toy brand Dagedar, which are a variety of demon like balls that tikes race around tracks (the way some of us used to do with Hot Wheels.) High impact design using glow-in-the-dark colors, over-sized demon visuals and funky HTML-based fonts make for an effective solution for pre-teen dudes and dudettes.The Dagedar Invasion site works in collaboration with a series of events being held across the country in conjunction with Tony Hawk’s foundation Bird House, Six Flags and Simons Malls. 

An iiD insight was to design it to work in real time to allow easy and quick posting as events are unfolding. For the same reason, social media integration into the site allows the client’s Facebook and Twitter posts to show up in real time on the microsite. The microsite also includes a full-featured event calendar, tour blog, rich media gallery and product info.
