I've been freelancing for geekspeak, a Toronto-area ecommerce startup, since late-2013. I began by contributing to projects for clients like Walmart, Best Buy, and Sport Chalet. In the fall of 2014, I took on a Senior Editor role for a new Yellow Pages initiative that sought to improve the online presence of small merchants across Canada.
The project primarily focused on markets in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. I was responsible for editing written profiles from geekspeak's stable of writers and liaising with small business merchants to ensure they were satisfied with the final product.
