I was contacted by 2 creatives that were setting out plans for a new festival in Maaseik city. They told me “Maaseik is so ready for its own festival”. There was even a facebook page called ‘We want our own festival in Maaseik’. A new festival called ‘Maze Festival’ was born and the theme of this very first edition was going to be ‘Electronic Circus’.
After a first meeting we decided that a clown character would be the main graphic for posters and goodies. Together with the layout and a new logo we came to a set of supercool banners, posters, stickers and other goodies that gave this brand new festival the look and feel that it needed to conquer Belgium.
Maze Festival 2014 was a huge succes and Maze Festival 2015 is already in the making!
