LL Cool J - Rock the Bells | Logo Design

LL Cool J's Music Group Logo (Rock The Bells)
LL Cool J is one determined and focus hard working individual.. When this logo was commissioned (1999) he was on his way to transforming himself physically to the rock hard body he now has.. LL Cool J specifically stressed that he wanted the silhouette to look like his younger days (LL Cool J - Rock The Bells Bad album) early in his music career..

At the time of the logo design he was religiously working out to achieve his new look and a year later or so he ones again take the industry by storm not only with his acting and music career but by living up to his name (Ladies Lover) with his ripped hard body who afterwards led to other rappers following in his footsteps..

LL Cool J posed for a picture so that I get the feel of how the silhouette should look and the hand gesture, trademark rolled up pants on one leg and where he wanted me to add BELLS.. It took several versions until he was satisfied with the look of his silhouette (on the logo)..
Really cool, humble kat and a pleasure to work with.

Another satisfied client - LL Cool J and moi.
