The Balvenie is a very unique single malt Scotch whisky. We still grow our own barley and keep faith with a traditional malting floor, the last of its kind in the Scottish Highlands. Our resident coppersmith maintains the stills and our team of coopers ensure each barrel is in perfect condition. And of course, our Malt Master presides over the all-important maturation process. Maintaining the traditional skills and craftmasnship involved in producing our fine malt is important to us, and so we like to celebrate craftmanship and the artisans in our midst. The Balvenie Craft Museum is one of these celebrations, where you can experience each craft whilst enjoying a dram of our fine liquid. On display will be the following craftspeople; David Cummins - Furniture Maker Cinnamon Lee - Metal Worker Nick Haddow - Cheese Maker Allan Tomkins - Luthier Mark Riley - Surfboard Maker Keith Marshall - Bicycle Builder Andrew Simpson - Boat Builder Senden Blackwood - Stone Sculptor Daniel Jones - Tailor Andrew McDonald - Shoe Maker David Sleishman - Drum Maker Cali Andersen - Book Binder Read Less
