This headdress is a piece that I crafted over the summer. I drew inspiration from Eastern architecture and the Art Nouveau style while creating this palace structure. It is a combination of Eastern and Western influences that I gathered from art history.
It is constructed from the scraps of a tester mat board that is used in the frame shop that I worked at. All of the decorations are done in an art nouveau style with acrylic paint. It was all hand cut, constructed, and painted.
