Eyeview has a unique place in the post-production world. The role of motion designers is to add additional elements to video assets that gives the viewer a seamless viewing experience, where extra scenes feel organic to the original content. Inside the extra scenes dynamic content will be shown to the viewer based on where they are located and cached data they've accumulated. With all of that information Eyeview is able to serve ads, products, and offers to those most likely to take actions after seeing the ad (hyper-local targeting) in addition to showing a map, and address, of the nearest place to make a purchase.

 

This was a project that was done before I joined Eyeview but the original version was creatively hamstrung. I was given free reign to reimagine the offer scene; the caveat being that the pre-rendered 3D helmets from the previous project had to be used. Taking a great many inspirations from Troika's 2014 redesign of ESPN's Sportcenter I proceeded into Illustrator, for the initial designs, and then Photoshop where the stadium was built and monitor curved, as I didn't have the luxury of any 3D software to use. Once out of Photoshop I used After Effects to really build out my vision for the 5 seconds of animation and design. 

 

The whole project was completed, a day or two at a time, between client work from July to November 2014.
