Know-how and humour
IT services provider Knoworries is very human.
In times when the worlds biggest companies are IT while at the same time recession strikes hard for the smaller players in the field - it's important to be visible, to make a difference.

Knoworries used to have a logo featuring a plug. Heritage from a time people saw the phonemenon PC as something quite different than today. Luckily the company itself is very up-to-date, so once we got to know the knoworriors (as they tend to call themselves!)  it was an easy diagnosis they needed something to fit their identity. And not just their identity - times have changed, too. Sunny Liebherr helped as we found out more.

While we were used to fight with computers, nowadays they just work. That changes the way the PC should be serviced. When things don't fall apart anymore, you need to care about them differently. These days the "people from IT" need to communicate with user at least as much. And there aren't that many brands showing they know. So often it seems to be only about selling boxes. Knoworries isn't, they're full of humour and know-how. One could say they're communicative nerds! Warm, enthusiastic people. And we gave them a new suit and matching tie. Oh, and a website.
The company asked for a logo. While developing the design we felt we needed more. When you're a company with taste, with clear difference from the others, you need to express that. Dare to be different, to quote a historic writer. In order to get that extra flavour we added some sort of graphic dialogue. The logo is relaxed and funny; we contradicted it by bringing in the complaining voice of a computer user, exclaiming the well-known frustration of non-cooperating PC's.

So first you recognize this IT rant, and right after you see the smiley and the Knoworries logo. Mission accomplished.
