PASSION PROJECT
I Left My Heart Here
TO LAUNCH MID-JANUARY 2015

It is often said that ‘a part of us remains whereever we have been’ — whether it’s each place or each person or even the simplest thing, these all become remnants that each individual carries with them, and in turn, a part of that individual remains. I Left My Heart Here is a celebration of this mutual exchange.

We are in a generation that promotes the idea of collecting experiences. We cherish memories, hold on to optimism and hope to share our joys among others with pride. The project emphasizes the need to understand
the things we’ve left our heart with by encouraging the will to iterate and share their own experience of love, passion and appreciation through the use of categorized photos and their accompanying captions. In this
manner, the endeavour is to ultimately build strong hearts—hearts with a capacity to love that is whole, no matter how many times divided.
HOW IT WORKS
The project, at the forefront, is a movement perpetuated through the sharing of photos and the development of captions. Its official launch and promotion is intended to be done through a guerrilla marketing strategy
that plays on the concept of phenomenology. A contextualized series of sticker-tagging initiatives will hopefully spark curiousity and generate traffic for the website and campaign, which in-turn encourages participation within the movement. While the movement on the surface leads users to participate for their own enjoyment, the subsequent goal is to generate awareness for heart-related complications and advocate for audiences to have the Heart and Stroke Foundation be a cause that they leave their heart with and contribute towards.
