Nixie tubes

 

Some of You may remember gadgets with such tubes in the 1980s.  These tubes were used as numeric displays in early digital voltmeters,  frequency counters and other types of equipment.

 

We did the design having these fantastic tubes.

 

The idea was to insert the craziest smallest tubes from the USSR in a watch case. Two glass tubes for hours indication first and after 1 second for minutes.
